  • How many songs do you have in your library? We have a number of CD's, but we have a limitless library. We use 2 Dell DJ mp3 players. Each hold 9,000 songs so we are able to continually update and customize our library to fit your needs.
  • What format is your music in? (i.e. records, cassettes, CD) We use a combination of CDs and mp3s.
  • Do you allow clients to choose the music at their event? Part of the magic of AMT Entertainment is the music mix and selection talent. We will always ask for special requests and genre requests, but an event flows much smoother when we are able to play music based on the crowd, within the pre-discussed boundaries, of course.
  • Will you buy any special music I request? We use a music subscription service that we pay for monthly. This allows us to download any of over 2 million songs. Chances are, we already have what you want. But if we don’t, we can get it well in advance of your event. If the unlikely circumstance that your song is not available in the digital format, yes, we will purchase the song prior to your event.
  • When is the best time to book my DJ? It is best to book your dj soon after booking your venue. The sooner the better.
  • Why choose a DJ over a band? Although bands provide a high-impact source of entertainment, usually their song selection is limited to one or two genres. Also, bands take several breaks throughout the night, leaving your guests to fill the silence. Hiring a DJ, you not only have a limitless song selection, but you also get an interactive MC who can keep your guests entertained and having fun throughout the evening with no breaks in the music.
  • Why choose AMT Entertainment over other dj's? AMT Entertainment takes several hours to plan and prepare your customized event intinerary. We take extra care to make sure it is executed in the precise way you have requested. We treat your wedding day with the same reverance we would treat our own. We also keep our price low so we can meet the needs of couples who are funding their weddings themselves. We feel that quality entertainment shouldn't cost a fortunte. But mostly, what makes AMT Entertainment different is the talent. We provide an extraordinary mix of dj music and live vocal performance to make your event something to remember.
  • Do you do this part-time or full-time? Usually, when dealing with a mobile dj service run by an individual who performs at events full-time, you will find that the cost is much higher. However, with AMT Entertainment, you get the quality of a full-time company at the price of a part-time company. We are a husband and wife team and, although Ben does have a full time job that he's been employed at for the past 14 years, Ann Marie devotes her full time attention to AMT Entertainment and its clients.
  • Can I attend an event to see you in action? Unfortunately, we are not able to allow prospective clients to attend an event that we work. This is out of respect and courtesy to our current clients. However, some of our clients have allowed us to take video of their event to be used as a demo. Some of our demo clips can be viewed on this website's "Video Demo" page. You can also contact some of our clients as referrals.
  • Do you charge any fees for set-up or travel? Our prices are clearly detailed on our "Prices & Availability" page. No, we do not charge any extra to set-up or tear down. In regards to travel, we do not charge extra. However, our services are limeted to locations within 100 miles of Tampa, Florida.
